HIV and oral health

People infected with HIV have higher of getting oral infections. The problem arises because of the weakened immune system inability to fight against the infections. You can make a habit of chewing sugar free gums. You should avoid alcohol, tobacco and salty foods. Using a humidifier can help a lot to prevent the infections.
