What are the common symptoms shown by a woman’s body during menopause? |
The stage of menopause comes with significant number of symptoms. It includes vaginal dryness, nausea, fatigue, irregular periods, cessation of periods, depression, anxiety, allergies, breast tenderness, dizziness, headaches, wrinkled skin, joint aches, weakness, heart palpitations, dry hair, hair thinning, hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, low sex drive, decreased or no fertility. All the mentioned symptoms will mostly start when you will cross 40-45. This is because they may be symptoms of perimenopause. Perimenopause starts some5-8 years before menopause. And symptoms of both of them are almost same. But it is important to note that in one of the studies it was seen that menopause can occur even before the age of 41 and this is the fact because in India 1/5th of women have menopause before 41. |
