Aromatization is the important function of the body in which there is conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Even though people generally believe that testosterone is a male hormone, it is present in women too. But the fact is men have around 60 times more testosterone than women. And the concept is true for estrogen too. Estrogen is female hormone but is also present in men in smaller amounts. It is the characteristics of estrogen that women have large breasts.
Experts suggest that aromatization is a natural process. It is not harmful but must occur in balance. When there is imbalance there will be a problem. In case where there is imbalance in the levels of estrogen and a man have it in high quantity then he will have large breasts. And this may be due to the enzyme called as aromatase that is secreted in the body. It is also worth noting that imbalance in estrogen levels also lead to some types of cancer.
